Job Description
We are looking for a Transport Planner who will be responsible for handling the execution of the delivery plans from our global warehouse to our local warehouses. This includes truck ordering, shipment transfer order creation, invoice and customs documentation handling and follow up and errors in the EDI process. The transportation planner is the first point of contact of the transportation operations team of our logistics service provider.
Your other responsibilities as Transport Planner would be:
Being the first point of contact for logistics related inquiries from the markets and managing the shared central planning customer service mailbox.
Owning the execution of the plan versus our transportation cost and customer service targets.
Managing sub-contracting of machines in central warehouse
Reporting and follow up on open orders.
Reporting and controlling transportation costs for export/Outbound operations.
Co-operation with the central DRP Planner, the logistics specialist and the operational Logistics teams of our Logistics Service provider and of our markets.
Actively participate in SCOS program for W&D Pillar.

For this role as a Transport Planner, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
You preferably have a Bachelor/Master’s degree and you have at least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain;
You speak fluent English;
Ideally you have worked with SAP APO;
You are analytically strong, eager to learn and take accountability for your results;
You can work independently and have an easy understanding of data and are eager to take ownership and initiative;
Last but not least, we look for someone with good communication skills, who is able to address key messages to the different stakeholders.
