Regional Buying Manager - Raw, Equip & X-sell / Band E

Job Description

As Regional Buying Manager, you'll lead a team of 4–5 buyers ensuring uninterrupted supply of External Manufacturing, Coffee Equipment, and Cross-Sell Non-Food materials across 15 JDE factories in Europe - with a spend responsibility of up to €0.5bn. Reporting to the Procurement Director Europe, you'll be the senior point of contact for suppliers and factories on escalations, performance, and supply continuity. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines operational excellence with strategic supplier management. 

What you'll be doing: 

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of regional buyers to deliver best-in-class procurement operations 
  • Ensure uninterrupted supply across 15 EU factories, managing escalations on delivery, quality, and supply issues 
  • Develop and execute regional procurement strategies that improve cost efficiency, agility, and supply reliability 
  • Drive supplier performance management — including SRM programmes, risk mitigation, quality audits, and continuous improvement 
  • Oversee contract compliance across the category portfolio, including payment terms, pricing, and rebates 
  • Execute tenders, productivity initiatives, and cash extraction programmes across the category

For this role as Regional Buying Manager – Raw, Equip & X-Selling, we're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience: 

  • 5+ years of procurement experience with a strong track record in cost and cash delivery 
  • Solid understanding of E2E supply chain and supplier relationship management programmes 
  • Experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced, operational environment 
  • Strong stakeholder and supplier influencing skills, with the ability to manage critical escalations 
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, change, and working across multiple priorities under pressure 
  • Degree level education; MBA or further qualification preferred
